Ask Within ("the app") is a simple wisdom/reflection app. This policy explains what information the app does — and does not — collect.
Ask Within does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other identifying information through the app.
Questions you ask and any readings you choose to save to your "journey" are stored only in local storage on your own device. The app also keeps a small local record of when you first opened it and how many questions you've asked, used only to determine your free-trial status. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it.
Ask Within offers an optional Premium subscription. Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store — we never see or store your payment details, such as card numbers or billing information. The app only checks your subscription status directly with Apple or Google to determine whether Premium features are unlocked. See Apple's and Google's own privacy policies for how they handle payment and subscription data on their end.
The app does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking technologies of any kind. We do not build a profile of you or your usage across apps or devices.
Because we do not collect personal data through the app, there is no personal data for us to share with third parties. Subscription purchases are handled directly between you and Apple/Google, as described above.
Ask Within does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "last updated" date.
